Refunds and bookings

We take no payments

Key Card Travel is a free publication. Nothing is sold on the Site and no payment is taken here, so there is nothing for us to refund. The room database is free.

Bookings are with the hotel or provider

When you book a stay, you book it with the hotel, or with the booking site or travel advisor you choose, not with us. That business takes your payment, and its cancellation, change and refund terms apply. We cannot cancel, change or refund a booking, and we cannot act for you in a dispute with a provider.

We are not a travel agency and do not arrange travel. If we later work with a travel advisor, the advisor's agency, and its own registration as a seller of travel where the law requires one, will be named on the page before you book.

The rates on this Site

Every rate is the cheapest we could find on the date shown, read on the site named beside it, with the conditions attached: refundable or not, meals included or not, and what taxes and fees are in the figure. Rates change daily, and the price that binds you is the one the provider shows when you book, including its cancellation terms. Read them before you pay. Where a hotel adds a compulsory fee that is not a government tax, we include it in the figure or say so beside it.

Commissions

Some links may in future pay us a commission if you book. It never changes the price you pay or the provider's refund terms. See our affiliate disclosure.

If we ever sell something

If we offer a paid product in future, its price and refund terms will be shown clearly before you buy, and this page will be updated. Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under the law.
